Today I had to use the phrase, “Hey babe – will you come here and help me find out where I’m bleeding from?” Yup. Picture below.
Some some blood pooling on the manual (and I spared you the image of the larger section – this is just to give you the main idea) and couldn’t find anywhere that it might be coming from. Anne found it right away and we patched it up. Solid teamwork right there. Soon there will be enough of my blood in this airplane that we will officially be related.
Now on to more exciting thoughts – the build today. I found an excellent rhythm tonight with the rivet gun and the bucking bar. I went to town on the leading edge rivets on the bottom side of the HS and it felt great. Still quite the process of placing rivets, making sure they are the correct size, taping, riveting, then moving down the line and setting the next round without removing too many clecos along the way.
Good looking row of rivets if I do say so myself. And I do!
Hey there – another great row! But in all seriousness, I think I need to stay at it this week because I’m on a roll and my skills are pretty honed right now. I’m getting a great feel for the combination of my rivet gun and bucking bar. Pretty pleased overall for sure.
